One of Tableau’s most requested features has arrived. Composable data sources, introduced in Tableau 2026.2, allow users to connect multiple published data sources within a single data model.
In this Data-Driven Community event, guest speaker Kirk Munroe will explore how composable data sources can help you move beyond traditional data blending. You’ll learn how to relate published data sources, extend them with custom semantic definitions or calculations, and publish the combined model as a new reusable asset, all without altering the original sources.

Data educator and strategist with over 20 years of industry experience, Celia is dedicated to turning analytics into action and opportunity in her current roles of Training & Enablement Lead at Xeomatrix and Adjunct Professor at the University of San Francisco.

She authored and delivered 30+ courses for DataCamp, General Assembly, and F500 companies. Celia has created and managed extensive courseware development and delivery teams within Hire, Train, Deploy companies to send +350 students into successful consulting positions as Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Data Analysts with F100 hiring partners.
