Visualizing Survey Data & Using AI for Analysis in Tableau

March 11 @ 12:00 pm 1:00 pm

About the Event

Survey data is rich with insight—but only if you can make sense of it. In this session, we’ll explore how to transform survey responses into compelling, visual stories using Tableau, moving beyond basic charts to reveal patterns, sentiment, and trends that drive understanding and action.

We’ll also dive into how AI can accelerate the analysis of long-form, open-ended survey responses, helping you categorize, summarize, and extract themes from qualitative data that’s traditionally time-consuming to analyze. Attendees will learn practical approaches for blending structured survey results with AI-assisted text analysis to create dashboards that are both analytical and human-centered.

This session is ideal for anyone working with customer feedback, employee surveys, research studies, or any dataset where numbers and narratives need to work together.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Design effective visualizations for survey data that clearly communicate trends, distributions, and comparisons.
  • Choose the right chart types for common survey question formats (Likert scales, rankings, multiple-choice, and demographics).
  • Structure survey data for analysis in Tableau, including pivoting, normalization, and aggregation best practices.
  • Leverage AI to categorize and summarize long-form survey responses, such as open-text feedback and comments.
  • Blend qualitative and quantitative insights into a single, cohesive dashboard experience.
  • Reduce manual effort in survey analysis while increasing consistency and interpretability using AI-assisted workflows.

If you can’t attend live, register and receive the recording.
